Skill Priority

Forte Circuit

Rover's kit primarily revolves around their Forte Circuit, as Unbound Flow and their healing is included here. To maximize their healing and damage, prioritize this skill first.

Resonance Liberation

Their Resonance Liberation offers decent damage and healing that can be cast quickly and is easy to use. We suggest upgrading this after their Forte Circuit.

Resonance Skill

Their Resonance Skill provides players a way to convert effects and apply aero erosion to enemies. However, the effects do not scale with their skill.

While it offers some damage, Resonance Skill is less of a priority and should be upgraded after their Forte Circuit and Liberation.

Normal Attack

Aero Rover's kit does not make use much of their basic attack combos as Cloudburst Dance scales off their Forte Circuit. We recommend upgrading other skills first before Normal Attack.

Intro Skill

Rover (Aero)'s Intro Skill offers some damage and often uses it during quick-swap rotations to gain windstrings fast. That being said, other skills provide more to his overall potential and his Intro Skill should be prioritized last.

Windward Pilgrimage set is essential for sub-DPS build to increase max Aero Erosion stacks on enemies.
Quick swapping and rotations enable effective healing via Cloudburst Dance and Omega Storm.

Synergistic team ideas to help Rover: Aero shine in varied content.

Aero Erosion Team

Team Composition

Strategy

Start with Aero Rover and immediately use their Cloudburst, followed by two Basic Attacks in the air to generate 50 Windstrings and build up Resonance Energy.
Do this internal rotation twice up to 100 Windstrings, then cast Resonance Liberation afterward to fill their Forte gauge.

Note: As Cartethyia provides Omega Storm with extra Windstring generation, this will allow Rover to successfully fill their Forte Circuit.
Once their Transformed Skill is available, cast Unbound Flow and immediately switch to Ciaccona to automatically trigger its Stage 2.

Note: This will increase the max Aero Erosion stacks to 6.
When Ciaccona enters via her Intro Skill, she will immediately generate 1 Musical Essence and inflict 1 Erosion stack on enemies. Follow this up with 2 Basic Attacks to generate one more Musical Essence and let her do a Solo Concert.

Solo Concert: Provides 24% Aero DMG Bonus to all team members.
Do Ciaccona's optimal rotations to build up her Forte and Resonance Energy. Once her Forte Circuit is full, cast a Heavy Attack to group enemies and deal damage.
Next, cast her Resonance Liberation and switch to Cartethyia when her Intro Skill is available. Make sure Ciaccona applies Aero Erosion in her Liberation.
As Cartethyia enters the field, do her optimal combos to summon and absorb all three Sword Shadows. Then, transform into Fleurdelys using her Liberation when available.
In the Manifest state, group and deal damage against enemies using her ideal internal rotations and build her Conviction stacks to 120.
Once 120 stacks are reached, you will be able to cast her second Resonance Liberation to deal massive damage against enemies.
Lastly, use her Outro Skill to amplify other team members' Aero DMG and switch to Rover (Aero). Repeat until all enemies are defeated.
If you need healing, you may switch to Rover and do fast healing with Cloudburst Dance.

Notes

Aero Rover's best team is with Cartethyia and Ciaccona as they fully utilize each others' kits by maximizing the Aero Erosion mechanic. Rover (Aero) is able to increase the maximum limit of Aero Erosion stacks applied, benefitting other units in the team. Ciaccona, a premium Aero Erosion unit, is ideally the best sub-DPS in this team as she greatly amplifies both Aero DMG and Aero Erosion DMG. Lastly, Cartethyia is the best Aero Erosion DPS in the game, being able to apply Aero Erosion DMG and buffs to herself. Furthermore, her Inherent Skill also has a <b>special interaction with Aero Rover</b> that adds Windstring generation to their Liberation.

Jiyan Aero DPS Team

Team Composition

Strategy

Initiate with Ciaccona and generate Ensemble Sylphs while applying Erosion stacks on to enemies. When her Concerto is filled, switch to Aero Rover.
When Aero Rover enters via their Intro Skill, players can immediately cast Cloudburst Dance to generate 70 Windstrings.
Afterwards, cast Resonance Skill again and do Cloudburst Dance to generate 50 more Windstrings. Then, cast Resonance Liberation to deal damage and heal the party.
Upon reaching max Windstrings and full Concerto, cast Unbound Flow and immediately switch to Ciaccona to increase the Aero Erosion stack limit.
With Ciaccona on-field again, apply more Erosion stacks with her skills. Make sure to perform a Solo Concert while doing her combos to boost Aero DMG for the team.
Once her Forte bar is filled, cast a Heavy Attack to group enemies together and deal good damage. Then, cast her Resonance Liberation to deal off-field damage before switching to Jiyan.
Upon entering the field, have Jiyan cast Resonance Liberation. When in Qingloong Mode, maximize the Aero DMG buffs provided by both Ciaccona and Aero Rover and deal high AoE damage against enemies.
Repeat until all enemies are defeated.

Notes

Aero Rover works well with Jiyan and Ciaccona together, making up a full Aero team. This team is able to utilize Aero Erosion to some extent, dealing damage-over-time and providing DMG buffs to the entire party. Ciaccona synergizes well with Rover, being able to buff each others' kits and maximizing each other's potential. Whereas, Jiyan is a straight-forward DPS that benefits from the combined Aero DMG buffs provided by Ciaccona and Aero Rover.
