Character Items

  • Markings of Life item icon

    Markings of Life

    A diary dear to Sigrika, filled with the traces of her life and thoughts. In Bjartr Woods, it held her joy and discoveries. At Startorch Academy, it holds her doubts and sorrow. Life stretches far beyond the pages of a diary. Growth, too, never happens overnight.

  • Carrier of Passion item icon

    Carrier of Passion

    A bird journal Sigrika keeps, though most entries are just blurry silhouettes. The sketches and notes brim with the collector's unfiltered excitement. "Stay still! Don't flash me your tail, Blubbin Puffin! Stay there! Stop moving! Ugh, your tail AGAIN?! Please stay still! Ugh, again?! Blubbin Puffin!" "New species discovered! White bird! New species! White bird! New species! White bird! New species! White bird! New species! White bird!"

  • A Mother's Love item icon

    A Mother's Love

    A pouch sewn by Sigrika's mother, filled with candies, hairpins, and little trinkets whose purposes are anyone's guess. When Sigrika left home, her mother pulled her into a warm embrace. It left Sigrika with encouragement, love, and the gentlest of tethers.

Builds

Echo Skill Aero DPS Build

Skill Priority

5

Forte Circuit

The majority of Sigrika's DMG comes from her Forte Circuit, so you want to upgrade this first.

4

Resonance Liberation

After her Forte Circuit, Sigrika's Liberation is the next strongest damaging skill. Upgrade this second.

3

Normal Attack

Sigrika uses her Basic Attacks to setup her other skills and get Runes. As such, you want to level this up alongside her other skills, but as a secondary skill. Focus on her Forte Circuit and Liberation first.

3

Resonance Skill

Sigrika's Resonance Skill isn't the primary damaging skill of her kit, but still accounts for some of it. You want to level this up alongside her Normal Attacks.

2

Intro Skill

This skill isn't too important on Sigrika but is still an additional source of damage, regardless. Level this up last.

Forte Circuit

Within Infinity's Embrace

Heavy Attack - Schemata of Runes consumes two Runes to deal Aero DMG (Echo Skill DMG). Effects vary based on Rune types: Runic Outburst, Runic Chain Whip, or Runic Soliskin. Consuming Soliskin Vitality increases DMG. Forte Circuit - Learn My True Name consumes all Full Stop for massive Aero DMG.

Requirements: Requires Runes obtained from Basic Attack - Elucidated or Resonance Skill variants. Requires Full Stop (max 100) and Soliskin Vitality (max 60, gained from team Echo Skills).

Echo Skill Aero DPS Build Details

Best Weapon: Solsworn Ciphers
Alternative Weapons: Blazing Justice, Pulsation Bracer, Abyss Surges
Notes: Solsworn Ciphers is best due to synergy with Aero and Echo Skill DMG. Blazing Justice provides DEF shred but incomplete synergy. Abyss Surges offers Energy Regen but makes crit ratio harder. Focus on reaching 150% Energy Regen for max Echo Skill DMG bonus from passive.

Best Echo Sets

1
sound_of_true_name echo set icon

Sound of True Name

5 pieces

This is the best set for Sigrika, as it increases both Aero DMG and Echo Skill DMG. The majority of her skills scale off Echo Skill DMG, so the entire set is optimally used.

2
sierra_gale echo set icon

Sierra Gale

5 pieces

The next best set is Sierra Gale since it gives a generalistic Aero DMG buff to Sigrika, especially when she uses her Intro Skill. It loses out a bit on buffs compared to her Sound of True Name, but is quite usable throughout all stages of the game, especially since it's widely available for most players.

Recommended Main Echoes

Best Echo for Sigrika since it stacks on top of Sound of True Name's set effect. It gives both Aero DMG and Echo Skill DMG buffs, which is ideal on Sigrika. Deals Aero DMG when cast. Summon-type Echo, so it's easily weaved into combos.
Second choice for Sigrika if you have Sierra Gale as her Echo set. Gives Aero DMG Bonus and Heavy Attack DMG Bonus, which is decent on Sigrika. Summon-type Echo, so it's easy to add in combos. Deals Aero DMG when cast.
An older, less efficient version of its Nightmare variant. Transform-type Echo, so it requires timing with Sigrika's combos. Gives Aero DMG and Heavy Attack DMG, but is conditional.

Tips & Tricks

  • Aim for 150% Energy Regen to get 50% Echo Skill DMG Bonus from passive (2% per point above 125%).
  • Balance Crit Rate and Crit DMG for optimal damage.
  • Focus on leveling Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation first.
  • Use Nameless Explorer as main echo for best damage.
  • If you don't have Energy Regen substats, consider using a 3-COST ER main stat piece.

Echo Skill Hypercarry Team

Team Composition

Strategy

  • Begin combat with Shorekeeper and go through her combos to build up her Resonance and Concerto gauges. Once her Resonance Liberation is up, cast it to deploy Stellarealm and switch to Qiuyuan once Outro is available.
  • After Qiuyuan's Intro, perform two Basic Attacks to fill his Forte quickly. Then, cast Echo Skill and his Resonance Liberation to deal extra damage to enemies.
  • Next, hold his Heavy Attack button to perform his 3-step attack string, consuming his Forte in the process. Lastly, cast Resonance Skill before switching to Sigrika via Outro.
  • As Sigrika, quickly cast Echo Skill and three Basic Attacks. Then, cast Resonance Skill to generate two Runes followed by an enhanced Heavy Attack.
  • Afterwards, cast Resonance Liberation to enter the Divergent state.
  • Next, do five more Basic Attacks to gain two Rune stacks. Once available, do an empowered Heavy Attack.
  • After performing two Heavy Attacks, hold Resonance Skill to charge it. Once the instance of damage is dealt, you can switch back to Shorekeeper with Outro.
  • Shorekeeper detonates the realm after all three Intro skills.
  • Repeat until all enemies are defeated.

Notes

Sigrika's best-in-slot team is with **Qiuyuan** and **Shorekeeper**, since both of them can funnel buffs to Sigrika for a more consistent and optimal damage-per-rotation (DPR). Qiuyuan can provide both **multiple Echo Skill casts** and **Echo Skill DMG buffs**, making him an essential unit in the party. As for Shorekeeper, she's the best support character for her extensive **Crit** and **All-Type DMG buffs**, on top of providing amazing **sustain** for the team. Lastly, Sigrika maximizes all of these buffs during her **on-field time**, alongside her own self buffs for huge damage.

Alternative Characters

Lucilla
Lucilla(Sub-DPS)

**Sub-DPS Replacement for Qiuyuan**

* * *

Moonlit Clouds
**(5-pc)**

* * *

Lucilla is one of the best alternative options for Qiuyuan, as she essentially provides similar Echo Skill DMG buffs for the party while also dealing decent damage of her own. She's considered to be a strong side-grade for him and more accessible with her two Resonance Modes.

Ciaccona
Ciaccona(Sub-DPS)

**Sub-DPS Replacement for Shorekeeper**

* * *

Gusts of Welkin
**(5-pc)**

* * *

In an alternative setup, you can run Ciaccona for a Mono Aero team where all buffs are funneled towards Sigrika in exchange for no sustain. Quite hard to manage, but is essentially stronger than running Shorekeeper.

Iuno
Iuno(Sub-DPS)

**Sub-DPS Replacement for Shorekeeper**

* * *

Crown of Valor
**(3-pc)**

Sierra Gale
**(2-pc)**

* * *

Iuno can replace Shorekeeper since she can provide Qiuyuan with Heavy Attack DMG buffs and team-wide healing. Furthermore, she deals good damage of her own, making for a damage-oriented team comp.

Cantarella
Cantarella(Sub-DPS)

**Sub-DPS Replacement for Shorekeeper or Qiuyuan**

* * *

Moonlit Clouds
**(5-pc)**

* * *

Cantarella can be used in replacement for either character, as her value is quite versatile. She can heal, provide multiple Echo Skill casts, and deal decent damage of her own.

Double Echo Skill DPS Team

Team Composition

Strategy

  • Begin combat with Phrolova and build up her Volatile Notes with three Basic Attacks and her Resonance Skill combos.
  • Once six Volatile Notes are available, hold Heavy Attack to perform Scarlet Coda and enter the Resolving Chord state. In this state, activate her Liberation and summon Hecate.
  • With Hecate now on-field, switch to Qiuyuan via Outro.
  • As Qiuyuan enters via his Intro, do two Basic Attacks to fill his Swordster's Soliloquy Forte. Once done, cast Echo Skill and Liberation to deal extra damage to enemies.
  • With his Forte full full, hold the Heavy Attack button to do his 3-attack string that consumes his stacks for extra damage. Then, cast his Resonance Skill and switch out to Sigrika via Outro.
  • As Sigrika enters the field via Intro, quickly cast Echo Skill and three Basic Attacks.
  • Then, cast Resonance Skill to generate two Runes. Afterwards, perform a Heavy Attack to fill half her Forte bar followed by her Resonance Liberation.
  • Next, do five Basic Attacks to gain two Rune stacks. Then, do an empowered Heavy Attack once available.
  • After casting two Heavy Attacks, hold Resonance Skill to charge it. Once the instance of damage is dealt, you can switch back to Phrolova with Outro.
  • Repeat until no enemies are left.

Notes

Sigrika can work in a double DPS setup revolving around the Echo Skill DMG composition. The bulk of Phrolova's damage is dealt off-field, so Sigrika can focus on being the on-field attacker. Do note that Sigrika's skills only scale off Echo Skill DMG and are not considered Echo Skill casts. This means that only Qiuyuan and the Echo Skills of all three characters can proc Hecate's off-field attacks.

Alternative Characters

Lucilla
Lucilla(Sub-DPS)

**Sub-DPS Replacement for Qiuyuan**

* * *

Moonlit Clouds
**(5-pc)**

* * *

Lucilla is one of the best alternative options for Qiuyuan, as she essentially provides similar Echo Skill DMG buffs for the party while also dealing decent damage of her own. She's considered to be a strong side-grade for him and more accessible with her two Resonance Modes.

Cantarella
Cantarella(Sub-DPS)

**Sub-DPS Replacement for Qiuyuan**

* * *

Moonlit Clouds
**(5-pc)**

* * *

Cantarella can be used in replacement for Qiuyuan, as her value is quite versatile. She can heal, provide multiple Echo Skill casts, and deal decent damage of her own. However, mostly Phrolova benefits here, while Sigrika only benefits from the extra Echo Skill casts.

General Aero Team

Team Composition

Strategy

  • Start with Shorekeeper and do her optimal combos to build her Resonance and Concerto gauges. Once Liberation is available, activate Stellarealm and switch to Ciaccona via Outro.
  • Once on-field, have Ciaccona do her optimal combos and build up her Resonance energy as quickly as possible. When available, group up enemies with her enhanced Heavy Attack and immediately cast her Resonance Liberation.
  • Make sure Ciaccona is applying Aero Erosion before switching out to Sigrika via her Intro.
  • After entering the field, have Sigrika quickly cast Echo Skill and three Basic Attacks.
Once the instance of damage is dealt, you can switch back to Shorekeeper with Outro.
  • Shorekeeper will detonate the Stellarealm with all three Intro Skills performed.
  • Repeat until there are no enemies on the field.

Notes

Sigrika can work in a general Aero-centric team by having Ciaccona in the party. While the team lacks Echo Skill DMG buffs, the Aero DMG bonuses and amplification Ciaccona provides can be a decent alternative for some players. Shorekeeper also provides the best value for a support by giving Crit. stats and All-Type DMG amplification, making her the optimal choice. For this team, make sure to have each member cast their Echo Skills to activate some of Sigrika's passives.

Alternative Characters

Rover: Aero
Rover: Aero(Support)

**Support Replacement for Shorekeeper**

* * *

Rejuvenating Glow
**(5-pc)**

* * *

Aero Rover can replace Shorekeeper to make up a Mono Aero team. Rover buffs Aero Erosion by increasing its max stacks, and heals the team up quite well with their skills.

Sigrika F2P Team

Team Composition

Strategy

  • Initiate with Verina and build up her Concerto Energy through her Res. Skill and Heavy Attacks. Then, cast her Resonance Liberation to activate her Coordinated Attacks. Once Concerto is full, switch to Aalto via Outro Skill.
  • Upon entering the field, cast Aalto's Resonance Liberation and perform multiple Mist Dashes via his Resonance Skill and Basic Attacks. Do this until his Concerto gauge is filled.
  • Once Aalto's Outro is available, switch out to Sigrika to buff her Aero DMG.
  • After entering the field, have Sigrika quickly cast Echo Skill and three Basic Attacks.
Once the instance of damage is dealt, you can switch back to Verina with Outro.
  • Repeat until there are no enemies on the field.

Notes

Sigrika can work alongside Aalto and Verina to make up her F2P team. This will, however, perform significantly worse than her other teams since her damage mainly scales off Echo Skill DMG, which neither of the two other characters provide. Aalto does provide an Aero DMG bonus with his Outro, making him quite viable as a F2P sub-DPS unit. Meanwhile, Verina provides an ATK and All-Type DMG buff to the team, on top of also applying coordinated attacks with her Liberation. Do take note that other more general DPS characters will perform better with F2P units than Sigrika due to her being mostly locked into the Echo Skill archetype.

Alternative Characters

Baizhi
Baizhi(Support)

**Support Replacement for Verina**

* * *

Rejuvenating Glow
**(5-pc)**

* * *

Baizhi is a replacement for Verina, as she provides decent healing to the entire team. Can be obtained very early on in the game.

1Her Family

"I'm back..."

The moment Sigrika closed the door, a round Kronapuff that could've been a ball launched itself into her arms, sending her stumbling back two steps.

"Hey, Crackle! Did you have fun at home?" she laughed, steadying herself. "You look bigger again. Have you been eating too much? Alright, alright, let go of me! Where's Mother? Wait, don't tell me. My nose already knows."

She dashed into the kitchen. The fatigue of the journey melted away the instant she spotted the pot of rich, bubbling Smoked Meat Stew.

"You're back?" her mother glanced over. "Look at you, filthy from head to toe. Off chasing birds with your friends again, were you? In a few days, you will receive the Reactor Drive's blessing. After that, you'll be considered a grown-up. A Solsworn can't be seen running around like that."
"No, no! I was helping Aunt Astrid with her herd. That doesn't count as running around."

Her mother reached out and pinched her cheek. Sigrika winced and scrunched up her face. It only made her mother's smile soften.

"Alright, alright. Go wash your hands. We'll eat once your father gets home."
"Okay!"

Sigrika grinned. She washed her hands carefully, then took the plates and utensils from the cupboard and laid them out neatly on the table.
When her father returned, their small home welcomed a dinner that wasn't lavish, but was warm enough to fill the room.
At the table, Sigrika counted the little gifts her father had brought back—flower crowns, hairpins, clear bits of glass, and a few small blocks whose purpose she couldn't quite guess. As she tucked them away, her mother sighed and began to complain about his buying strange trinkets again. Her father scratched his head, fumbled for an explanation, then, catching Sigrika's eye, seized his chance to change the subject.

"So, feeling confident about the coming Trial?"
"Of course," Sigrika answered without hesitation.

She liked this. Being with her family. Even when her parents nagged and rambled, she never felt annoyed. She knew, deep down, that all of it came from love and their high expectations for her.

Her parents wanted her to become an outstanding Solsworn. They hoped she would use her talent to help others, and more than that, they hoped she would grow into an outstanding person. Sigrika knew how to live up to those expectations. That was why she studied runes every day. Learned something new every day. Even when exhaustion crept into her bones.

Still, as the Trial drew closer, she couldn't help but feel nervous.

"It's alright," her parents said. "Our little Sigrika will pass with flying colors. After that, you'll be heading to Startorch Academy. That place has trials of its own waiting for you."
"Mhm!" Sigrika nodded, pushing her anxiety out the front door along with the dust of the road. For now, she would just enjoy dinner. After all, the stew really smelled good.
"Oh, right, Mother," she added suddenly. "Has Crackle put on weight? I could barely pick it up."
"Ask your father."
"Papa?"
"Haha… I might have... fed it a bit more than a little."

2Her Gift

The rune unfolded before her eyes, like a sun rising into the sky.

Few people knew that runes were never meant to be flat symbols, but something with great depth—just like what she was witnessing now. This small sun rose and unfurled, spilling its light freely and generously onto everything around it.

Sigrika watched in silence. If she were asked to explain what was happening, she would just say that runes carry meaning. She was only interpreting that meaning and allowing it to manifest in the world.

"Only?" she thought to herself.

People called it her gift. As if she had been born able to read the True Names of runes, born able to draw on the power sealed inside them. And so, of course, she could apply this gift elsewhere, like calculating the paths of the stars, fulfilling everything a Solsworn was expected to do.

But... that was all it was. A gift.

A gift meant that this was the one place where she could give her all and nowhere else. She could recreate the True Names of runes, but she could not truly understand their essence. Why did runes hold such immense energy? What were those fleeting visions she sometimes glimpsed when touching them? And when she deciphered runes, what were those syllables hinting at, the ones she heard but could never understand?

She didn't know.

Standing here now, waiting to be marked with the "blessing of the Reactor Drive," she held a quiet hope: that once the blessing was imprinted onto her, once she crossed this threshold into adulthood, understanding would come naturally to her. But of course, it didn't.

The rune merely unfolded before her eyes. Nothing more. Even if it shone like a sun.

This was what being "gifted" meant. It meant that it ended here and only here. Anything beyond that, she would have to seek out herself. See it for herself. Think it through on her own.

Even now, when she had no answers at all.

Even if this gift felt like a shadow cast upon her by some greater entity.

3Her Limits

The frostlands.

Sigrika exhaled softly, a plume of white drifting into the air as she watched the herderless Exoswarm roaming in the distance.

She had been trailing them all night.

It had taken her hours to pull the Exoswarm out of their extreme agitation. Now, they wandered the frostlands in loose, aimless loops, but Sigrika knew this was not a good sign. Something in their command and navigation units had malfunctioned, leaving them to trace one pointless circle after another. And sooner or later, without warning, they would spiral back into a frenzied rampage. When that happened, the nearest Royan settlement would be the first to suffer.

It was a riddle. And she didn't have much time left to solve it. But that was fine. She was ready.

"These True Names… Illuminate."

The next instant, runes flared to life across the Exoswarm, then detonated. The aimless circling stopped. And in its place came rage. The Exoswarm recalibrated as one, locked onto Sigrika, and charged.

Their thunderous steps shattered the silence of the frostlands. The ground trembled beneath them. Sigrika tightened her grip on her dagger and began tracing runes in the air.

Calm. Focus. These were the absolute requirements when drawing and deciphering runes. Stroke by stroke, the runes formed before her. And all the while, the Exoswarm bore down, their fury heating the very air, melting the snow beneath their pounding steps.

Three... They carved deep, stretching grooves across the ice. Runes flickered on their bodies, but did nothing to slow them down. Driven by the single command to charge, they only accelerated, faster and faster—

Two... Sigrika tapped the final point with her blade. She vanished. At almost the same instant, every rune on the Exoswarm ignited, and Sigrika slipped between them, shuttling through their ranks on the paths her runes had carved.

One! The rune trap activated. Chain explosions erupted. Wind blades tore through the Exoswarm, cutting off their advance. And at the center of it all, Sigrika's dagger found its mark—the key to the riddle. When the shockwaves finally faded, she landed lightly, pulled forward by a Soliskin. Behind her, the Exoswarm herd that had raged all night finally fell silent, and the last rune clenched in her fingers scattered into specks of starlight.

"That was… close."

If not for Soliskin steadying her, she would have collapsed right there. Her hands were still trembling. Her heart hammered against her ribs. She knew why. The most important rune had never lit up. It hadn't responded to her deciphering. It hadn't worked at all. If the pre-set traps hadn't triggered exactly as calculated… If the wind blades had been even the slightest bit weaker…

In that moment, she understood her limits. And she understood that the gift she relied on was far from omnipotent. There would be times when runes could not be deciphered. Her gift, too, had boundaries.

And this—only this—was what she had to rely on. She had to read the runes correctly. Because if she made even a single mistake, everything would turn out differently.

No one said those words to her. So now, she said them to herself.

4Her Shadow

She stood still.

Students streamed past her, some eagerly debating club activities, some rushing to class, others grumbling about the weight of their coursework. They flowed past her into the Academy in an endless current, a stream that didn't seem to run dry.

And there she stood among them. A stake driven in place, struggling just to hold her ground.

This was the new life waiting for her.

Sigrika jolted awake. It took her a moment to realize she wasn't home anymore. She was a freshman at Startorch Academy.

What awaited her wasn't just runes. New courses. New knowledge. New people. A buffet of novelty lay spread before her. But the light of it all cast shadows. Heavy ones.

She still hadn't found her footing here. Just yesterday, working as a teaching assistant for the first time, she had been asked to explain Royan customs to her classmates. Halfway through, a strange confusion and pressure had washed over her, something she had never felt before. Two days ago, she hadn't even known how to make TARD-E stop its incessant singing. And before that…

She had stood at the Academy gate, watching people pass by, unable to decide which way to go.

All of it was new. Vast. Overwhelming. Unlike runes, these things weren't built from points and lines. They offered her no familiar handholds.

Sigrika threw off the covers and sprang out of bed. She washed up quickly, then gathered her things: the notes she had organized yesterday, her Bionics assignment, the preview materials for Ecology and Communications, and...

Moments later, arms full of books, she hurried out the door and merged into the stream.

She would bite into these shadows. She would find their shape, their structure. And she would wrest the knowledge from inside.

5Her Words

Sigrika stood at the front door of her childhood home, her hand resting on the handle. She didn't open it for a long time.

Ah... It was still hard. Hard to say everything out loud, to admit how tired she was, how unhappy. Even facing her own family, she found it difficult.

Or maybe... it was because they were her family that made it so hard.

After all, she didn't want them to worry.

"It's okay," she comforted herself. "If I can't even face my own family, how can I ever face myself?"

At last, she made up her mind and reached to turn the handle—but the door swung open on its own.

Her mother stood there, looking at her with helpless fondness. "Why didn't you come in?"

"Mother..."

"What's wrong?" her mother asked gently. "You've been out there for so long. Did something happen that you're afraid to tell me?" She smiled softly. "It's alright, we can take our time."

Sigrika stepped forward and wrapped her arms around her.

Something inside her crumbled all at once. Maybe it was the wall she had built, brick by brick, stone by stone, between herself and her family. Built from her pride. Her exhaustion. Her love. She had wanted so badly to be someone they could be proud of, so she never spoke of how tired she was. Never let it show. But now… she felt that she finally could.

"I've met some friends," she began. "Really good friends."

And there was so much more she wanted to tell them.

Thoughts: I

Hey, are you free next weekend? Want to come with me to <te href=700021>Bjartr Woods</te>? I know a secret spot there with lots of Dusk Honeypots!

Thoughts: II

These <te href=700026>Soliskin</te> are my friends. I know one day they'll eventually return to the Solistrees, turning into tiny sparks. It's sad when friends leave, of course. But they told me that this is their choice.

Thoughts: III

I've been studying these runes since I was very little. To me, they're never flat in my palm. They have depth. A piece of history, or a coordinate... like the grooves etched into Ashen Ironwood to mark the past. When I decipher them, I see projections of civilizations not yet known. What I see feels so vast that it makes me wonder. When I'm deciphering them... are they, in their own way, deciphering me?

Thoughts: IV

After what happened, I called Mother and told her everything. About the riddles we solved together, how I'd been scared I wasn't good enough, and the times I almost gave up. And how every time, you were there to comfort me, telling me it was okay, even if I failed. Maybe that's how I managed to overcome the version of me in the Dark Side. Mother... She went quiet for a long time. When I asked if she was alright, she finally said, "You've been carrying so much all this time." I... I never thought she'd say that. But then I closed my eyes and thought: That feels really, really good.

Thoughts: V

Now, I want to learn more interesting things and see places I've never been. I won't run away from what everyone hopes for me, but I also want to listen to my own heart a little more. To try things that only I can experience. You've told me about so many amazing places, like <te href=850091>Jinzhou</te>, <te href=850097>Ragunna</te>, Septimont... If I ever get the chance, I'd really love to visit them! And when that day comes, would you come with me?

Sigrika's Hobby

Back home, a hug means something special. When someone leaves, we send them off with a hug full of blessings. And when they return, we welcome them with a hug full of joy. The frostlands are so cold that it feels like the air itself might freeze. In a world like that, what you need most is the kind of warmth that's light as feathers. So... would you like a hug, Senior?

Sigrika's Trouble

If possible, I really wish we could all stay friends for a long, long time. But... I know time has a will of its own.

Favorite Food

Every time I leave home for school, Mother packs a huge jar of Fruit Crackle for me. She makes it all herself, and it's always so sweet. She wraps the jar carefully in ice so it stays crisp until I open it. That's why the jar always feels so heavy when I carry it… It's heavy with a warmth too big to hold.

Disliked Food

Have you ever tried Grilled Fern Spore? Don't, seriously don't! It's so bitter just thinking about it makes me grind my teeth... If I ever had to eat something that awful, I'd rather eat at the cafeteria! Not that we actually call the cafeteria food "food," right? ...Wait, you're saying the cafeteria's serving Grilled Fern Spore Jelly tomorrow? Oh no, no, no, no! Grilled Fern Spore is already a nightmare, and jelly made from it? I...

Ideals

I still want to live up to everyone's expectations! But now, I won't push myself too hard, and I won't stop just because I'm afraid of failing. Because now I know... this is the path I chose. And I want to give it everything I have!

Chat: I

This hair accessory? It was a gift from Father. He's always trekking across the frostlands, bringing home all sorts of strange trinkets. He used to tell me that our lives shouldn't end within <te href=700021>Bjartr Woods</te>. Well, someday, when I get the chance, I want to travel around too. Then maybe... I can bring back some interesting stories of my own, bright enough to make the little ones in the tribe smile.

Chat: II

When I was little, Mother would take me out to the frostlands to herd the <te href=700022>Exoswarm</te>. At night, I'd lie on their backs and look up at the stars, one by one. Mother said stars are the endpoint of a riddle. She would connect them, one to another. And just like that… everything looked different! The stars were no longer scattered pieces of gold. Each one held its own meaning. That was my first understanding of "riddles." What is a riddle? What is the solving? What is the answer? The riddle is the <ano=Rune>starry sky</ano> itself. The solving is finding the hidden connections within it. And the <ano=True Name>answer</ano>… is in the very moment you see those connections come together.

About Denia

Nia always says, "If you can't finish it, just drop it. Toss away whatever's hard or sad. Running away makes everything so much easier." But whenever I'm up late studying, she's always right there beside me. Sometimes I think… maybe she's actually the one who least wants to run away. She never talks about herself, so I can't quite see what's going on in her heart. Still... I hope we can stay friends for a very, very long time.

About Lynae

Lynae always comes and goes like the wind. Wherever she passes, she leaves behind these dazzling colors. Those colors are her riddles, and the smile on her face? That's always the answer.

About Aemeath

I really, really love Fleet Snowfluff's songs! But the last time she held a fan meeting, I was out on a frostlands field study... I-I hope I'll get another chance to attend! I would love to see her!

About Luuk Herssen

After the New Solar Celebration incident, some students said we should make a banner for Dr. Luuk. It seems that whenever someone's feeling down, he's always there, checking on them, talking with them for as long as they need. They suggested things like "<te href=851069>Startorch</te>'s Best Counselor" or "Best Doctor and Best Advisor." But if you ask me… I think I'd just write, "The One Who Always Has Candy."

About Lucilla

President Lucilla's classes are so much fun. When she taught the history of Royan clothing, she even turned it into an impromptu styling workshop! But getting into her classes is almost impossible. Every time the course listings go up, I have to glue myself to the screen and click as fast as I can, or they'll be gone in seconds! And on the professor review forum, her page is just full of students complaining, "How can someone who teaches everything have classes that fill up in seconds?!"

Birthday Wishes

Today's your birthday, right? Happy birthday, my dearest Senior! This whole box of gifts is for you! Look! A jar of Fruit Crackle, a scarf woven with rune blessings, and a fluffy Soliskin plushie… and this Sunstone I made. No matter where you are, it'll always point you toward the sun. I hope sunlight always follows you, and that every wish you make comes true!
